We had crawfish etouffee at my sister's house tonight only I didn't take a photo of it. Believe it or not, we found a really reasonably priced source for crawfish tails out here. Needless to say, it was excellent! :2thumbs:

My wife (who is a very picky eater) is spending the night at Joe's Valley, so the kids and I ate well this evening. Chicken fajitas and grilled corn on the cob. T'was delish.

:slobber: grilled cob....nomnomnomnom! I had tacos tonight...not really picture worthy :popcorn:

I had family reunion food. I am looking forward to any food tomorrow.

Tonight's fare: grilled potatoes and kielbasa. Not pictured: beer.

This is what we had for dinner last night. Only thing not pictured was corn on the cob. Yummy cajun burgers, macaroni salad, potato skins, kabobs, grilled pineapple, and patriotic cupcakes (made from scratch!). Great 4th party. My cocktails ended up looking purple instead of red and blue but they still tasted good. :lol8:

Today we had potroast and fireroasted veggie salad with vinaigrette(YUM)
I made a butterrum bundt cake with cream cheese frosting but I havent been in a picture taking state (sorry)

Tonight it's steak sandwiches and salad, with a rum and cola on the side.

Wow.. I love food..
I feel hungry now..!

Couldn't wait for dinner or time to take a pic of it so I did brunch today after my workout:

2 egg omlette w/ a tbsp of heavy cream
chopped turkey
extra sharp cheddar
roasted pepper olives - chopped
salt to taste

prepare omlette
sprinkle with cheese
pour homeade chili verde over it. Home grown roasted poblanos in the chili. DAMN good. Warm peppers....ok. HOT, but hard to resist!

Spam 'n eggs. I have got to try that. Soon.

One of my favs is hard boiled eggs, pickles, and spam(straight out of the can). Run them all through a salad shooter into a big bowl add a bit of mayonaise and mix. Put it between two slices of bread. Yummmmy!

I still need to try this

Spam is part of the food storage but I never really had a plan for how to serve it. I'm going to have to rotate stock and try both of these!
