Loading coords for Harmon's, REI, Jeep rental place, etc. into my GPS. Tomorrow it's SFO->SLC->Goblin Valley. SPRING BREAK IS HERE!
I'm researching & listening to snippets of SUPERCOOL music after falling in LOVE with the new CD by the Decemberists ~ "Hazards of Love".
I've been looking up some of the bands/musicians which inspired my beloved Collin Meloy to create this masterpiece, and I'm really excited about what I've found so far!!! Electric Wizard, Anne Briggs and Black Mountain will definately require further listening!
Found a new peak hike to do off of Ortega Hwy, and hope to it tomorrow or Sunday!
The Decemberists. very interesting. I listen to Hazards of Love & the Crane wife & bits of others...I think I like hazards of love
Crane Wife is brilliant! Piquaresque is a great CD too!Quote:

I'm spending the day sitting around in a vegetative state waiting for the first day of this headcold or whateveritis to pass. Good thing I'm off til Monday  Really, I'm not doing a damn thing today...
At work for another 1.5 hours, then probably doing some basic house cleaning, then working on the wife's website (Trish's Cake Shop) to convert it to something more search-engine friendly.
Damned weather! I am glad I was able to get out yesterday while the weather held, though.
Bummed... no Vegas trip for me this weekend. Stupid snow ruined everything. :frustrated:
Well I am sorry you didn't get to go to Las Vegas but I just had to pay rent! :frustrated:
Guess I'm gonna have a drink to cheer myself up. I deserve it. I just helped some dude find his little kid who was trekking around the property, heh. :haha: I am going to heaven for sure!

It's snowing freaking balls here!!!! and it's not letting up. Tonight I am supposed to go see a Johnny Cash cover band in Aspen......the drive is gonna suck!! But hopefully will be worth it!
Yep snow here too. Bloody hell. :ne_nau:
Sun is shining, the weather is beautiful...and I'm sick. :ne_nau:
Well, it's snowing, it's cold, and I'm sick. :ne_nau:
I was bored this afternoon so my son and I completely rebuilt my Marzocchi Shiver 200mm fork...seals and springs. I overdid it of course and now I am resting for the night
Yeah, my BF was just checking out some of the CO webcams (one of his favorite things to do on the computer :haha: ), and it showed the snow that eastern CO got. Whazzup wit' dat? It has been raining here for the past several daysQuote:

At this moment, I'm listening to my BF talk about the increased activity in the real estate market (something else he follows aside from webcams). I'm going to get some bread started for tonight's dinner, then do the dreaded shopping trip (see the "Walmart Bingo" thread). I lead such an exciting life I can hardly stand it! :lol8:
Speaking of cover band, I jammed for a few hours today with a band of buddies. There were 5 of us, and all 5 can play the guitar. :haha:Quote:

They've got a nice setup, all the equipment. :2thumbs:
Beautiful sunny weather here (though a bit cool still). The talk is that it will hit 20 degrees by Monday (that's in Rest Of The World degrees, not US Degrees.) I was supposed to work tomorrow, but managed to swap a leave day with someone else, so a day of leisure for me. :cool2:
Not back to work until Thursday - may just have to have a night in the mountains on Monday or Tuesday...
Just got home from having a few beers with friends, playing board games and talking about our kids. Nice enjoyable evening.
Breakfast and music videos
Sunday morning coffee is always good! Windy today so I can't go shooting. I've finished my gun upgrade and I want to break in the barrel. See what tomorrow brings. :ne_nau:
Much better weather today. I think it hit 50 in my neck of the woods. :haha:
This time of year can be perfect motorcycle weather. Time to mount up again tomorrow morning... :naughty:
