*bump*
This one is from the San Rafael Reef, about 20 minutes before sunrise, and is the desktop image for my account on our eMac, the computer my wife, son and I all share...

I cant get enough of the beach people... :cool2:
This isn't exactly a desktop picture post so much as a post about something really cool now that I have upgraded all the Macs in our house to 10.5 Leopard. It's screen sharing, and with it I have my eMac's desktop on my iMac and vice-versa, and I can do everything just like I was sitting at the other computer. It's pretty cool, actually.
Here's the screen shot, made at my iMac, with my eMac being shared in the window...

I hate to see this thread die. I don't know why, but I think it's one of the cooler ones.
I was looking through the images from the first vacation Abby and I took together, which we named "The High Road" from a song lyric, and ended up setting this as my desktop. It's from Goosenecks of the San Juan State Park, July 2003...

All I see is Icons :haha: :haha:Quote:

thanks for bringing this back to life!
it's a great thread :2thumbs:
My current wallpaper is very simple...a lily pond in Cape Breton NP, Nova Scotia. I never keep icons on the desktop, as it would hide my wallpaper to do so. I put them in a separate folder with a single shortcut to the folder kept on the desktop, off in a corner.
My current work pc has a silly pick I took after getting a drink of water by my kitchen window.

I recently changed it from this one:

After having a brief stint with this one:

My home pc has the boring blue screen because my 2yr old is constantly "learning" new ways to destroy my computer. A desktop image won't last a day in my house. :lol8:
What a totally cool thread! I'll play:
I constantly switch my background image - here's the new one I put on. It's a view of Nankoweap Butte from the Nankoweap trail. Taken May '05.

This is the desktop from my G5 at work. The image is from Arches National Park, on our honeymoon hike on the Primitive Loop Trail...

My Championship winning football team form 2007 (in white). #12 is my daughter Stormy, only girl in the league.
