A co-worker stayed overnight in Arches last week. Said he's never seen it so dead - ever. It was great. He had entire sections of the park to himself. If you're gonna plan a trip to visit the national parks now is the time. You'll likely never see it this unpopulated ever again.Quote:

I usually don't put much stock into conspiracy theories, but I sure don't trust those Chinese or anything they say for that matter.
Today I got to thinking about a scene from the movie "Signs"...the army recruiter, offering his opinion of the alien ships up in the sky and reports of a few of them stalking around. He said it was a "probe", and "evaluation"...reconnaissance for the main invasion.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is a biological weapon that they unleashed...just to gauge our reaction...and it had the desired effect, total mayhem. They're letting us know not to screw with them...I reckon Hong Kong pissed them off real good.
I've heard a few opinions similar to this, but they're always shot down with "Why would they unleash it on their own people"...like they wouldn't do that.
But oh, yes...they would. They don't give a crap about their people, this is about a means to an end. Unload it in a containable area within their own country before spreading it elsewhere, otherwise it would likely be seen as a direct attack.
Anybody else thinking along these lines or am I totally out in left field?
I believe many are thinking along those lines.
China's population explosion was un sustainable.
But It reveals the soft underbelly of America.
We are a spoiled Nation, prone to panic.
