Bridal Veil Falls
Having lived in Utah my whole life, and in Utah Valley since 2005, one would think I would have at least hiked to the base of the this beautiful waterfall. It was not so, my first trip to this waterfall was straight to the top and down by rappel! It was a magnificent adventure! The upper falls were my favorite, I could have spent the whole day up there just relaxing and rappelling the waterfall. Anyway, a good time was had. This adventure started after work Last Tuesday (8-14-2012) at 5:30 pm.
View from the top of the upper falls.

We raped both waterfalls, but it was getting dark as we were heading down the lower falls so we were unable to get pictures.
The upper falls were by far my favorite. on both rappels we used a 300ft rope, and had to have a member of the group run back up to the top and release the rope. We were unable to pull the ropes from the bottom.

Wander the back roads and forgotten paths, keeping your destination in your heart. Seek out new voices, strange sights, and ideas foreign to your own. Such things are riches for the soul. And if upon arrival, you find that your destination is not exactly as you had dreamed, do not be disappointed. Think of all you would have missed but for the journey there, and know that the true worth of your travels lies not in where you come to be at journey
