Feeling a little fat after years of much Jeeping I started to become weary of a "Jeep Gut" situation and determined to get back in to the Wasatch for my sanity if not for my health, as well as my growing interest in learning about wildflowers. My plans had been on hold due to a knee injury while dropping in to Bishops Bowl at Sundance earlier that year. It was July already and my knee finally felt up to the task. With a late start I got motivated enough to make this hike.

The light was great, and temps cooled nicely during a late return to the trailhead.
