Do you know anything about Oly cameras?

I would like to buy a 2 gig photo card for my Oly D-580, but the instruction book says it supports cards from 16 mb to 512 mb. I'm thinking the larger cards weren't manufactured at the time I bought this camera, so I'm wondering if the camera is even set up to be able to use these larger 2 gig cards. If you know, please tell me.

How did you make out with this? Did it work? The bigger card?

Yeah, the 2 gig card works. I actually emailed Olympus support and they said it would work and it has--then again, I haven't taken enough pictures to fill the card, so perhaps there could be some issues there, but so far so good.
