Weber River
I was under the assumption that flows were down on the Weber. Well they are still close to levels I saw early to mid summer. I had mainly fished the Weber last year from Nov to around March so I am still having troubles with the high flows. Anyhow I hit up my areas, Henefer to Taggarts and did ok. I got 3 today on my old blue flox vibrax #2 in brass. I had a few scares thinking I was going to lose it, but had to go in and get it.
I did get to pratice with my fly rod for a while, still working on how to read the lay of river for fly fishing and what to tie on....
Where I did catch the fish took me back about 15 years where I would fish similar structures for smallies in the fall back in NY with the same lure.
Here are some pics...

Glad you all liked the photos, that is the best part of the trip in my opinion. I hope to have at least 2 reports a week now with my wife finishing up school this week. :2thumbs:

Great pictures!
I avoid the Webeer below echo from March 15 to Oct 15. Flows go down after Oct 15 and that's when the fishing gets good.

Very nice pictures indeed... especially considering the equipment used. You gotta help train me up mentor...
