Old Ride New Ride
I bought this about a year ago when the family starting riding. It has been a nice bike and I've ridden it many miles. A Trek 4300 Disc - basic, but effective.

Today I hit my local bike shop and picked this one up. A Specialized FSR XC Expert. Quite a step up. Took a quick ride tonight and loved the full suspension.

Nice rides. :cool2: One of these years I'm gonna get a new one.

Very cool! You'll never look back.

Sweet ride! I love to hear about people getting new bikes!
Except if someone steals your bike, your sort of forced to replace your old bike. My GT xcr 3000 was stolen from my locked Yakima bed rail rack in front of my house. I was dumb to think a lock would deter a criminal. It was stolen the night after my last ride with the Bogley crew. Any way I "had" to replace it, so I got a 2010 specialized epic expert.

Kudos to bountiful bike center, there was a problem with the lower front disk brake bolt hole being stripped out, but they are taking care of the problem, by getting a new lower fork leg, and they put in a longer bolt to work temporarily.

That is too bad about your old bike being stolen. That is my worst fear, I have had pranks pulled on me to make me think that my bike has been stiolen and my kids are terrible at making sure that the garage door is closed at night. So far I have been lucky. You won't be dissapointed in the specialized and Brady at Bountiful bike has treated me well for the past 12 years.:ride:
