Thanks again for all the suggestions.
We made a quick trip up there last weekend and did just a little bit of hiking. We camped in the Trial Lake Campground, hiked up to wall lake, crashed really early due to rain, drove around in the morning, then walked around the fairy forest on the the way down the canyon.

Every time I drive up here I forget how close it really is.
