This was my first time on this trail, Mark gave it good reviews so I gave it a try. We even ran into Chere and her boy. :2thumbs:

This trail is great! We started from the lower Snowbasin Resort parking lot. It can also be made as an extension to the Maples Loop / Green Ponds trail system. We're guessing it's @ 2.5 one way. It's a steady climb, and a BOMB on the way down.

We both agreed it's much better than Mueller Park's downhill because it's constant, and it's MUCH less crowded.

We ended up on top of the saddle, just a little north of Mt Ogden. We were looking down on Ogden Canyon, we had a great view.

We're DEFINITELY hitting this one next Tuesday.

this trail was surprisingly great. I was just thinking of the old rocky snowbasin type of trail, but this was smooooooooth.

We're thinking of possibly working out a shuttle, parking at the snowbasin parking lot, biking to the top of the overlook, and riding all the way down the east fork, down past Art Nord, down Icebox, and down Wheeler to the Dam.

Should be a riot.

Some of you "real" bikers will probably opt out of the shuttle, but if you join us, I won't tell anybody. :haha:

Looks like a fun ride.

I've only been in St. George for a year, but all that green around the trail already looks weird to me.

Might have to give that one a try next time we're in Ogden at the in-laws.

Nah, I just needed to keep the flow of the video. We successfully made all of the tight switchbacks.
