| There advice on bringing a tow rope is a good one. We once broke down out there and had to borrow a chain from the first house on the way back from the caves. That guy was very put out and we were obviously not the first group to go to him for help. I can totally see where he'd be frustrated by everyone expecting help from him. |

i'm going to nutty putty the second weekend in december. we have our reservations and i saw the map of the cave for the first time last night. looks to be long and narrow. been on the website and looked at the list of things to bring. just curious. for those who have been there, is there anything that you wish you had known before you went? any mistakes to watch out for?

| well obviously i won't be taking our 14-15 year old scouts down there a week from friday. too bad. i heard down there no one can hear you scream:) |
