My friend Steve has a boat and invited me for a weekend at the Gorge. We were after Trout and bass, fishing shallow coves. The fishing overall was very good and we landed a nice variety. :fishing:

Nice!
I live nearby the Gorge and and fish the river from little hole down from my kayak.
Caught my biggest trout out of little hole!
beautiful camping if anyone gets up there.

How did I miss this post back in June?
That looks like a great day. That's a gorgeous rainbow toward the end. All were nice fish though. I'm jealous.
The Gorge is awesome, but I've only gone once. Stormy and skunked.
Revenge is in the cards. |
