| We're going to hike Death Hollow this weekend, starting from the Boulder Mail Trail. Anyone going to be in the area this weekend and want to share a car shuttle back to the trailhead (or wouldn't mind driving the five miles to drop off my car at the bottom)? Also, any tips for the hike would be appreciated. How's the flash flood potential for the lower part of death hollow? Thanks in advance. |

If start from Escalante and do the BMT/Death Hollow Loop, you don't need a car shuttle and it's only a little longer walk.
Lower Death Hollow can be dangerous in a few places if it was flash flooding since it's a big drainage and the head of the drainage is up in the mountains. |

| Should do it from top to the Escalante River out to town, well worth the trip but you'll need a shuttle. Should go up Maime Creek the pool up there is worth seeing. Great trip... |
