I've camped near there is all (climbing). Bunch of really nice spots, but, you've got to be mindful of the local ranchers and their gates. Might help to surf up a local land use map (can't recall if its BLM or FS).
Watch out for rattlesnakes. 'Tis the season and they're a bit onry this time of year.
