A partner and I are attempting Mount Antero Feb 27-28. If anyone is interested in joining us, let me know. This will be the person's first winter 14er, so we'll go at a pretty easy pace over two days. In case the weather is bad Feb 27-28, we'll try March 6-7.

Antero is 14,276 feet high, but in a technical sense is one of the easier of the Colorado 14ers to climb in winter and has an avy safe route up a scree rib. It is still very strenuous and of course will be very cold.
