Today was a blast! My friend Phil came up to Snowbasin and he took me over on Strawberry through the gates to Sister's Bowl and Get Back. I have always wanted to ski over there but didn’t want to go by myself. Now I know the area I won’t be intimidated anymore! It was a struggle at times; the snow was…… I don’t know how to describe it. It would be great for a turn and then shitty for a turn and alternated like that down the hill. I had to really work at it. My legs are JELLO but I am smiling like a Cheshire cat. We did find a very sweet spot; it caught all the snow drift blowing off the top of Strawberry. It was like cutting through butter.

= CRUD skiing that's when you just have to go "gorilla skiing" get low and power through.
Looks like a great day for you and your friend! We had an equal day at Sundance this morning, 10 runs before the ant farm got out of control and we called it a day. |
