My family is planning on going to Flaming Gorge soon.
Here are the things I'm tentatively planning:

Fantasy Canyon (outside of Vernal)
Camping on BLM land (any camping recommendations?)
Bringing my boat and waterskiing
Red Canyon Visitor Center for a Sunset view
Self guided river rafting (any suggestions here?)
Hiking Tamarack and Jessen Lake Trail

I've never been before and we are planning on going for 4 or 5 days. I'd love any other suggestions on how to make the most of my trip.

Thank you!

Fishing the Green for 2 days, then up to camp at Browne for a few days, then camp at Spirit lake until they kick me out.

Plan on taking grandsons to Tamarack, Jessen and several more in the area.

Lots of fishing planned and plain ol hangin out on the water at mountain lakes.(have float tube, fishing pontoon and raft.)

Then off to Green river lakes till bored:mrgreen:

Cool firetower by Browne lake(lookout mountain) I believe.
You used to be able to go up it and hang out, spent lots of time in area in late 70's.
Don't cut yourself short around Spirit lake, good chance of seeing moose and kickoff to many day hikes, plus fish for tigers on the lake.
