Dixie State University Name Change

Finally, at long last Dixie State University has decided to do the right thing and ditch the incredibly insensitive and politically incorrect name "Dixie". We all know that the word "Dixie" is just another way of keeping the African American race down in our society. When one says the word "Dixie" it calls our minds back to a time of slavery, torture, murder, and racial injustice. I mean, they may as well of just had a member of the KKK for a mascot. Score another victory for the SJW crowd, amirite?!

A coworker of mine is a Dixie State alum. He's absolutely livid about the whole thing. He says he thinks the Trustees just caved to nonstop SJW pressure.

Dixie State is basically a bootlicker to the SJW crowd because they have kowtowed to every demand that has been made of them over the years. You may recall they changed the mascot from a Rebel to a trailblazer, and removed several "offensive" statues and monuments from the campus over the years.
