Giant American Flag hanging in North Ogden

Named "The Major", this is the largest free hanging US Flag in the world, I believe, named for Major Brent Taylor the mayor of North Ogden who was killed in Afghanistan a few years ago.

Yesterday morning I was asked by the JROTC to film them hiking it up the trail and unfurling it over Coldwater Canyon. It took some major rigging operations on both sides of the canyon.

Here's a preview clip of the unfurling. That beeping is my drone just about to land in emergency mode. The unfurling fell behind schedule about 20 minutes so I spent a complete battery hovering with no luck, and I was on the last legs of another battery, luckily it made it just in time.
