Did you use dogs?No dog, but I did have to duck down as 1 was dead in the air as it almost landed on me. Farmington Bay area water was only just past my knees, easy to retrieve the ducks.

I stopped hunting Farmington Bay for 2 reasons: 1) Ducks taste like shit and even my dogs won't eat them and 2) I got tired of douche-bag hunters sending blasts over my head if I got within 1/4 mile of their location..
Learned yesterday while in Wendover that you can duck hunt the Fish Springs area and that they even have blinds prepared.

It is 10 minutes from my house, this year I was lucky to have a spot away from others. I went hunting to mentor my nephew, he took the meat to put in a crock pot. I can't eat restaurant ducks let alone these nasty wild ones.
