The Swell never disappoints with the scenery. The lung popping climb-up which goes up, around and down to the start of the short canyon is filled with amazing rock formations and incredible views, typical Swell.
The upper top of the hike is up one giant sandstone slab filled with several very large sinkholes and back down another giant sandstone slab right to the canyon entrance, amazing!
The short canyon has a one deep swimming pool and two amazing rappels at the end of canyon, well worth the effort of the climb-up.
The last, mostly free hang rappel rappel is now in my top ten rappels of all time where the anchor is around a small arch mid stream down the face of the canyon wall.
The hike out is fun, easy and very scenic.
All anchors were great shape, a meat anchor helped with the pool drop in.
Thanks to Jessica, Lori, Carl and Beth for great company and great photos and videos.
