I think I installed it maybe a year ago to see what the buzz was but uninstalled it after a day. I probably should wipe my phone. Who knows what it got into.

Now that Amazon is asking their employees to uninstall it and some countries are banning it outright, it's getting pretty serious.

The accusations are it's an infiltration tool by China.

The great irony is, it's the most open and free social media app, of the major ones. A Chicom app more open than US ones.

Lot of Trump supporters not happy about this since their content is censored elsewhere.

Where do you get this shit from?!? A lot of Trump supporters??? Hardly... Trump has the most diehard supporters I've ever seen. The guy could take a dump in the middle of the road and his supporters would cheer.

The part about Trump supporters being unhappy their content is censored is the only part you got correct.

I have a DoD security clearance with my work and they talked about how if you use TikTok you could jeopardize that clearance.

I've had surprised friends ask why I don't use TikTok since I'm a video guy and I reminded them that I'm a straight male over 40

Now that Amazon is asking their employees to uninstall it...

Oops!! Nevermind, it's was all just a misunderstanding.

China does NOT want Amazon to delete their app.

Deals were made with Jeff.

I wasn't implying Trumpers were mad at Trump, I was implying mad about losing a service where they could be pro-Trump.

I was forced to install Tiktok by my younger family members. I watch the links they send, mostly pro-Trump stuff, the rest just funny stuff. Maybe a week ago a slew of videos started popping up from Trumpers claiming a conspiracy was afoot to shut the app down to silence us. They showed stats indicating Trump vids trended better than anti-Trump.

Only later did Pompeo and Trump indicate it would be for nat security reasons.

Deals were made with Jeff.DNC calls as well. It's important to portray every Trump decision as chaotic and unreasoned. Amazon essentially confirming Trump damages that narrative.
