Dirty Devil River

I am planning to float (drag?) the Dirty Devil later this month. Would appreciate beta from anyone who has been down it this year. Especially road conditions for Roads to Sand Slide (planned put in) and Poison Springs Road (planned takeout)

Just curious... why do you want to float that section of the DD? Everyone I know that has tried that section has ended up hiking more than floating.

On a side note I've always want to float The Chute.

There's a group here that does it this time of year pretty often. They don't have a problem with dragging (much) using IK's as long as flows >100cfc
