Man--this one finally got to me:sad:

As a showing of solidarity and that no ice should perish on it's own, I just dumped my drink full of ice on the lawn, services at a later date...
I will be setting up a gofundme to somehow replace the ice I've lost:help:
Thoughts and prayers gratuitously accepted..

After being publicly humiliated by my fellow ice saver(rockgremlin)
I decided he was right and the final resting place was a bit harsh.
So under extreme pressure, I placed another batch of dying, solid, H2O in a much greener, shady spot.
Now in the shade--this mini glacier has a chance:nod:

:lol8: I like how you strategically placed the ice away from those harmful patches of sunshine.

strategary is a big part of saving these glaciers, I think if more apple trees had been planted around glaciers, we wouldn't be where we are today...

So it appears I'm suffering rapid glacial loss in my glacial test sample.
Some may be due to predation (my dog likes ice)
How much predation was allowed for in the Iceland tragedy, sample?
Do they have ice predators up there?
Is this amount of predation taken into consideration on a global level?
I may be on to something, here
Come on Winter.....

:lol8: I like how you strategically placed the ice away from those harmful patches of "global warming".
