As I was driving towards Provo canyon last week, I noticed how beautiful the green grass in front of the snow covered Timpanogas was really beautiful this year. I decided to find out if there was a trail that enjoyed this area. I found out that the Bonneville Shoreline Trail heads right up in there, and has many side trails that head into this back country of lots of rolling grass covered hills in the South West corner of Timp. I was surprised that I ended up getting as many great views of Cascade mountain as I got of Timpanogas, and the vista views of Orem city and Utah lake were also a fun bonus. Perfect evening hike if you are looking for a beautiful sunset spot on your hike.
