Red Cliffs Recreation Area

Last week during Spring Break, we visited an old favorite, the slot canyon and moki steps in Red Cliffs Recreation Area just outside of Leeds, near St George Utah.

This is a popular place, sure to get full during the day, and waiting in line to go up and down these steps can take a LONG time. So the secret is to hit these popular places later in the afternoon, as they are usually busy in the late morning until early afternoon.

I think this trail is officially called Red Reef Trail, but it is super fun especially if you are lucky and don't have the bottleneck of people trying to get up and down that area in your video like we did. Fun place! I just wished I had taken my underwater cameras so I could have captured the fun adventure it is trying to swim up that last slot canyon and climb up that small waterfall like area.
