They aren't the first one. I don't really care if there are all girl troops unless they are actively telling boys they can't join their troop. In other words, if there are only girls in the troop because that's who signed up, that's fine. If there are boys that wanted to join and they didn't let them because they're boys, that's a problem. From reading the article, it sounds like the latter. Too bad.

Not that anyone that could do anything about that will. They're all too afraid to stand up to that sort of discrimination.

Coed troops are not allowed (at least for now)...


"Beginning during the scheduled launch of Feb. 1, 2019, girls can join all-girl troops. Boys can continue to join all-boy troops. Scouts BSA will not have any mixed-gender, or coed, troops."
