The internets...duh!!

In the mining industry I would say the Longwall mining machine has been a HUGE game changer...for good and bad.

More coal miners have been unemployed from the Longwall miner than any government regulation ever could. With a Longwall miner coal operators could produce triple the amount of coal with a fourth of the work force. It's unbelievable.
