I've set up a few bait boxes on my front porch and recorded the scuz that stole empty boxes from me. People have suggested I make the "exploding poop" devices and such.

Just a warning, NEVER EVER make something dangerous, because a 7 year old kid could come up to your front door and move the box, just to knock on your front door to play with your kids. You do not want that consequence. I also recorded a UPS guy pick up the box and take it to his truck, thinking it was a lost, misdelivered package. He shortly returned it, unopened. So for everybody thinking it would serve the thief right to get poop sprayed on his face or his hand blown off, I would suggest not setting it up unless you had complete control of the situation.

If I sprayed poop inside the UPS truck, I'd still be paying them bills from a year ago.

Just put a box on your front step with dirt in it, to give it some weight. Have a shipping label to make it look real, but do NOT display your own address. You don't want that dickhead coming back to your house to get revenge.

Then just put a nice paper inside saying congratulations, you're on camera asshole, quit stealing shit.
