What do you use to navigate and keep on the track while hiking?

iPhone or iPad (both with Topo Maps+) , or a map and compass, or sometime Google Maps (maps can now be offline for 3 weeks); or just follow a well worn trail (i.e., Yosemite); the Garmin eTrex20 got lost and has not been replaced
