We did the Full Left Fork on Saturday.
Conditions were awesome.
Bluebird sunny day after a week of good rain and storms.
Passed by a flock of Turkeys and seen 5 elk on the approach hike. Wildlife is always a treat.
LIttle bit of spicy downclimbs to get down to the Upper Left Fork section.
We suited up immediately after hitting the canyon bottom as water started right off. Our group had anywhere from 3 to 5mm suits. 3 of us carried vest, but never used them. Was a little chilly at times, but never cold as long as you kept moving.
Upper Left Fork and Das Boot were completely full of water. Lots of log jams to navigate either over or under.
Subway is still full of sand, only 2 swims in it. Didn't see another person in any of the canyons all day, other than a couple of people near the end of the Subway exit hike.
Whatever this talk of overcrowding is?
