China does know how to make drones, they are the leading drone manufacturer in the world, and I can testify that their DJI line is incredible compared to the US drones.

Having said that, you fly enough, and something will eventually fail. I see these idiots with the home made drone hover bike and such, it's a great way to lose a limb.

Sure the passengers in this drone might be safe from a crash, but imagine 8 knives - no, SWORDS falling out of the sky. Hopefully this thing never flies over any people. With an airplane failure, at least you've got a decent chance to coast and navigate after an engine failure. But if you've flown drones enough to see a malfunction, and then see the drone tip over sideways and plummet, no, accelerate towards the ground under full power, it's a scary thing to imagine with a passenger drone over crowds of people.

Cool idea, we are making progress, but sheesh, those blades of absolute death are so exposed.
