This was a major bummer to hear, as we go up to the family cabin we always look for the local moose. We heard that this bull had been shot with an arrow and was found dead at the pro shop at the Bear Lake golf course, just behind Ideal Beach Resort up on the Sweetwater Estates hill.
My guess is somebody shot it with an arrow, the moose took off and they weren't interested in tracking it, so it came to the place it knows well, the golf course, and died there.
