New Helmet

Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations on a new multi-use helmet for canyoneering/mountaineering/climbing.

I am retiring my BD half-dome from 2009 as the plastic and interliner is breaking down and deteriorating.

I am looking for recommendations with the following features: Cost:$30-80, light weight,inter-foam protection that offers rockfall protection on the crown as well as frontal and occipit protection from fall impacts, easily adjustable.

I love my Black Diamond Vapor. Lightweight, lots of vents and fits nice. Certainly better than those old buckets! Expensive yes, but the good stuff always is...especially considering weight.

Look it up and you'll be lead to a couple others that are highly rated and even lighter. One of them is this crazy orange one but it's supposed to be a great helmet. I think Petzl makes it.

It's black now. Supposedly a white one may follow eventually.
