What Tent for Motorcycle Touring?

OK.

I have decided to acquire another motorcycle for Touring Solo. It will be an Adventure Touring or a Sports Touring bike. BMW R1200RT counts as a Sports Tourer in my case.

I will need to gear up a bit. I would love to hear what gear is working for you guys.

I have a newly acquired '01 BMW R1100S for now, to start me out. I need Systems Cases for it still, though, The 1100RT/1150RT ones are correct for it. I have a KTM 625 SXC that I suppose I could camp with, but that idea doesn't sing to me right now.

I have noticed that at least one of you owns some Klim.

I bought a smaller 2 man tent on Amazon. It works ok for touring. I strap a waterproof river bag on the back to haul my camping gear. My bike is on the far right.

I use a 3 man Sierra Designs tent. A bit more money than a cheap one but so worth it for eas of set-up and durability. It all fits within my 40L First Gear waterproof duffel.
