2017 Board of Directors Election – Call for candidates

It’s election time! Are you interested in joining a team of canyoneers fighting for continued access to our canyons along with conservation, education and safety? Now is the time to get involved. We have five positions open with four incumbents seeking re-election. We encourage anyone interested in helping us promote canyon access, conservation, education, and safety to run for a board position in 2017. The next two years will be an exciting time to serve as we have several access and conservation projects pending. Some special skill sets we’d like to add to the team is marketing, communications, fundraising and but most importantly anyone who has passion for canyoneering.

Send a short bio, why you should be considered for a position on the board, and a photo prior to July 24, 2017 to board.election@americancanyoneers.org

Elections will take place from August 1 – August 14, 2017 with the new board being announced by August 16, 2017
