Utah Car Shows

Come on down to 25th Street in Ogden for tonight's car show. It's going to be packed with over 400 cars. It's already packed and the show doesn't officially start until 5pm. And best of all the show is free and runs until 9. If you're down this way stop and say HI. This is my favorite car show of the year.

Last car count I heard was 470 cars, but that was pretty early in the evening and a lot more showed up. It was crazy but fun.

I wish the DMV would update the classic car licence plate. I'm not fond of the current offering.

Ugly decal, but you have to love the deal. I pay something like $15 a year to register the Vette and I have no emissions and no safety inspections, that sure makes owning a classic affordable.

FWIW - A lot of guys remove the Tin Lizzy car decal from the plate with a hair dryer and install their own decal. A large number of Corvette owners replace it with a NCRS Corvette of Utah decal.

The only car show I plan is 25th Street every year and we do the SoDa Row cruise in on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Other than that it's just kind of hit and miss depending on how bored I am that night. Occasionally I'll hit one of the cruise night's in AF.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. A Trail 70 was my very first motorcycle. I still have a Honda Mini Trail 50, which was my pit bike from when I raced.
