If you're looking for a quick ride but want to avoid the zoo on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail south of 12th Street between Rainbow Gardens and Weber State University, try the north side of 12th street.
It's not as scenic, but it's a decent trail. It's also directly above the Ogden Bike Park at the top of 9th street.
