“The moon is probably the most tactically valuable military ground for earth,” the tweet said. “Rocks dropped from there have power of 100s of nuclear bombs.”

From the article:

Ms. Wu (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/brianna-wu/) blamed criticism of her on sexism: “that’s the danger of being a woman on the internet!” she exclaimed.

Oh. My. Hell.

Seriously? And he's a senator? This concerns me greatly.

You have to hand it to Willard though. He held a straight face and simply said "We don't anticipate that...". I don't think I could hold a straight face while responding to something like that.

I think this one takes the cake, but it is more appalling than funny. :shock2:

If it could escape the moon's gravity, he-she's got a point. Now if only this Global Warming scheme could kick it up a notch and create some kind of "sphere", around the "Atmos", some kind of Atmosphere, then it could burn up these objects as they get closer to Earth. Until the atmosphere has installed this plugin, we are in danger of a basketball sized rock hitting the Earth and wiping out a land mass the size of Greenland.

It is sadly depressing how stupid many of our congressmen are. It also seems to hit both sides equally. See Louis Gohmert and Steve King for evidence.

He should stand on top and roll the rock down the moon and then to earth. The moon might capsize the way he is standing!

I wonder how he got the moon to be directly over the Arctic though? Other than that, sounds legit.

Read Robert Heinlien's "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress"...Limited effort to launch a barge of rocks off the moon towards the earth - gravity takes over and it's BOOM time.

OMG I've got it. I had my "ah ha" moment, or my "Urethra" moment

With this same method of dropping rocks off of the moon, just wait until the moon is UNDER the Earth, drop rocks into deep space, making the moon smaller (just follow me on this one)

Smaller moon, lower ocean tides. Lower tides will provide relief from the rising ocean from Global Warming.

How many Facebook likes to make it happen?
