Little snow last night should be packed down by Saturday in AF. Tomorrow night we ride CC.

Ok, I'm planning on AF tomorrow morning. I'm still getting over a sinus infection and haven't been able to ride in nearly 2 weeks so, I may die, but I'll give it a go. I have 3 performances today so I won't be able to check this message board until late tonight. I thought I had your cell number, Scott, but now don't see it. text it to me at 8101-592-5521. We should plan on meeting at the Pine Hollow parking lot no later than 8am. After that you may not be able to find a parking spot. We also need to watch the weather as there's supposed to be a big storm moving in. A couple inches of fresh snow would be great. A foot, not so much!

I'm going to fatbike Round Valley tomorrow (Saturday) morning if anyone wants to join me. I've x-country ski'd Round Valley a bunch but, haven't fatbiked it yet. They have a fatbike loop, mostly on singletrack, which the Mountain Trails Foundation is grooming today. Anyone?

Well, I finally made it over to Round Valley last Friday afternoon, just beating the storm. I liked it. Not the scenic views like up AF Canyon but, the trails were packed and in great shape. I got a bit confused as far as where I was supposed to pick up the singletrack trail on the west side of the trail network. I made it work, though. Dang. Good luck with that. I got a sinus infection/head cold the week before Christmas and it lasted for 3 weeks. It sucked.

I'm going to fatbike up the Forest Service #085 road to Mineral Basin this afternoon if anyone wants to join in. The road will mostly be a dirt/snow mix until solid snow higher up. Mouth of the canyon at around 4:00pm.
