It has begun. After 3 years of skepticism and regulation BS, Amazon has finally officially made their first commercial delivery via drone, and it took 13 minutes of flight to deliver an Amazon Fire TV and a bag of popcorn.
Not surprisingly, it was in the UK, as I'm not surprised of the headaches wrought by the FAA here in the States, with some personal experience.
Or does it mean that the Brits don't whine as much as the Yanks, regarding the anti droners?
I say this is a great day. Another win for consumers.
We've seen the drone prototypes change over the years, but it's just simple R&D to find the best, most efficient, and no doubt less noisy models.
