I'm looking at buying a new +300 ft canyoneering rope. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with the following ropes:

Sterling HTP Static 9mm

Sterling Canyon C-IV 9mm

Sterling Canyon Tech 9.5mm

New England KMIII 7/16"

I have a connection that can get me a discount on these ropes and that's why I'm looking into them. Thank you for any input !!!

I only have experience with the sterling cIV, I had a 200'er. Its a great rope, very durable, but its a little bouncy when wet so I got rid of mine.

Of all of the above, I'd honestly go with the HTP 9mm.

It's not specifically a canyoneering rope but it's the most static rope I know of. Less than 1% static elongation. A bit heavier than other canyon specific ropes but it's really nice for long rappels.

Being 300" it won't come out to play as often so maybe you won't carrying the extra weight every once in a while.

It's fairly supple too so it packs down better than others.

Why haven't you considered the CanyonLux? If you have access to a discount, that might be a great selection for you.

I didn't see that rope as an option through my connection.
