It has come to my attention that there is now a ban on rappelling the Lower Falls(not sure what the rules on the upper portion is). Supposedly there is a sign at the bottom of the lower falls and at least one group has been confronted after going down. I was told the issue arrived after ropes being left either here or another scenic waterfall and some complaints? Either way here is a little tribute video.

First rule of being sneaky is not posting about being sneaky on the forums :nono:

The BLM posted a "no rappelling" sign at the upper trailhead last September (2015).

Problem is most people don't do the full...or I'm assuming. If you do just the lower off the hogs back there is no sign.
