One of the Bakers?
And based on the type of stone, it is not in the Grand Staircase, but more toward the Escalante Canyons area. Right?
Yes, I'm nitpicking...

Whew. Great shot from that perch, BTW. Didn't know Chop had that kind of skinny depth.

Curious how hole in the rock road is looking. Heading down tomorrow and I heard it was bad a while back. Rolling in a Forrester

Toad, my trip to Choprock was back in June. But my last trip to the area was in August. Hole in the rock seemed usual, though I did not dive farther than the Peekaboo Spooky exit. Egypt road on the other hand is back to its usual self. Terrible.

I didnt either ! but that was my first time through. That section was wider at the bottom though. The rest of the group took the low path. I stayed high as you can see from the video.

I just got back from there last week, and we were 45 miles down the road and it was in great condition. It got a little rough in some spots, but that just meant I had to slow down to 25-30 (we were doing 65-70 in some spots), I drive a Jeep Patriot.
