Are there any reasonable bivi spots at or near the Misery-Parunuweap confluence?

You might be able to get a small spot or two. There are a few spots upstream or downstream within about 1/2 a mile. If I were trying to bivy near the confluence, I would get to the confluence itself and look for a spot, but if there was nothing there, I'd hike the dirt hill right there up to the plateau above and camp there. Does that make sense?

Makes sense. It doesn't have to be right at the confluence; I was just wondering about the general vicinity.

There are several places to bivy between Misery and the Powell Plaque. I've taken a nap in that section several times while waiting for the cool evening temperatures to hike back over Checkerboard Mesa. These are not camp sites, just a couple places you can stretch out and catch some ZZZ's.
