Some great car camping around this area before you get into the major restrictions closer to the Maze. I was off a spur road and with the rain potholes of water for days and some neat hiking as I tried to get off the rim and drop down to get better pictures. Found an old rancher trail that did the trick. Wasn't that far from the vehicle but it was a nice evening and morning exploration. Also as I was driving out stopped in at Ned's Hole, in an impressive alcove with a big pool at the base.
