Spry, Water Canyon?

Headed down end of week. Anybody been lately? Wetsuits? Have never taken one on Spry but going a bit earlier then usual. What about Water Canyon never been there?

I would not take a wetsuit down Spry, there is minimal water and plenty of sunlight to warm up. The only time I took one in Spry was when we went in February and there was 8" of snow and floating ice.

Water Canyon is going to be dependent upon cold water tolerance. Most will take wetsuits down Water Canyon even during the summer. I have done Water 5 or 6 times and only taken suit once. I don't think its worth the weight to pack it to the top of the hill for the few sections of water that you have to get in.

You definitely need to do Water Canyon, it is well worth it

I did Water Canyon this last Saturday. I took a wetsuit and didn't not use it. If it's a sunny day don't take a wetsuit. There are plenty of areas to get sun and warm up.

Had a great trip. Water Canyon far exceeded what we expected. Only downside was it was like grand central station. 3 guides and a private group at the top
Total of 20 people plus us. Luckily we passed them all at first rappel.
Where the spring is at bottom how does the water conditions hold up in the summer up stream?
