Friday
A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Northwest wind 6 to 13 mph.
Friday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. West wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north after midnight.

?? I have permits for tomorrow (Fri) Opinions?

The amount of rain predicted on the NOAA site is very low so you're probably good to do something, but I with the long committing nature of Heaps I would pick something else.

Oh and this time of year Heaps is going to be VERY cold so there's that too.

Have you done Heaps before?

Drysuits with booties? Sustained cold water exposure for sure.

Prepared for ice/snow? What you gonna do if there's a big disk of ice floating in a pothole, that won't support your weight, but, might flip and pin/trap you? How you gonna get around that?

Not commonly done this time of year...risky at best...?
