Hi guys and girls, I would like to introduce my canyoning structure in France, in the Gorges du Verdon.

For me who loves canyoning, I find interresting to see how people practice it elsewhere in the world.

In the Verdon Gorge the rock is limestone, and canyoning courses are often very aquatic.

We can practice this activity when the flow rates are lowest (during the summer), otherwise there are sometimes too much water.

If one of you comes in the south of France, do not hesitate to come and say hello! We'll drink a good French beer!

This is the address of our website where you can see many pictures of canyoning around and in the Verdon.

Thank you for your forum who I have covered for hours! And sorry for my very bad english!

Gilles.

Might be a bit of an oxy moron...(ha ha). We usually drink Belgian beer while in France...

This post might be better moved to the canyoneering forum.

Cheers!

No, we have a very good beer in french !

Of course, Belgian beers are good, but nothing to do with our local organic beers !

And much better than the Budweiser :-)

I will move my post to the canyoneering section.

Thank.

Ha ha.

I'm sure there are good local brews to be found!

Verdon is a great area. Sorry to hear about Le Blond. Watched him win the first international climbing competition in the US at Snowbird in 1988. Unbelievable!

I've looked into the Verdon from Point Sublime. Fantastic. Be great to get back there. Great website!

Bienvenue, Canyoning Verdon

I've flown over those gorges, and they do look very pretty. But crowded, like Pine Creek or worst. It's just down the road from me (700 miles compared with 5000 for Utah ) so I should really take a look again. Organised trips? I'm not sure, One day, peut être.

French beer is so EXPENSIVE in a bar... 5 Euro for 30cL. And all the beer you can drink for £10 from the Carrefour (it has to do with taxation).

But the French do cook a mean steak, vint a good wine, and the seafood is excellent. I've been to France probably 30 times, and I love it there.
